As i have said before I’m not a fan of this month at all, weather wise, or people wise, the weather doesn’t know what its wants to do,although we have been very lucky this year. and then there’s the people… People of all shapes, coming at you, from every direction, and in the USA there’s Thanksgiving..which mean there’s always a big get together some where….. and that usually means travel… maybe i wouldn’t mind so much if we were going some where warm(er)..beaches and sunshine..you know:)!!!and of course people have begun shopping for Christmas.. so traffic is crazy, stores are crazy..it drives me crazy :)!!! jus’say’n! so with our any more of my complaining or whining, and i don’t mean to, let me get to what ive been doing.
thanks for taking time to stop by, and if u celebrated i hope your feast was a good one. lets all be thankful for what we have by sharing with others, especially the less fortunate.
so i had to go home again (where i grew up) to take care of Mom. She still needs help with Laundry and grocery shopping, still cant drive yet, or bend. even though im not all that far away, its amazing how 1 night away can gum up the works. Of course sleeping on a sofa doesnt help. but..i do what a can.so my reward was meeting my Brother in Law to shoot for a little bit. We met up on the west side of Buffalo, in a neighborhood called Elmwood Village. and of course had to go to a unique coffee house called SPoT. we walked and walked, and then i headed for my Home, to care for my own family, the felines were angry. what else is new?!!and later in the week , after i caught up on my sleep ,in the comfort of my own bed captured a few subjects:) so here we go……….
i hope you enjoyed the little tour, have a wonderful rest of the week end, and a super week
wow, it sucks to get old.. especially when your not very healthy. as we become the “adults” for our aging parents, we learn a lot.. some good some bad. we all have horror storied to tell, some more than others. so i wont get into that part of it.
i had to go help out , again, my Mom, who is 80 had yet another back surgery. this time a bit more invasive.. a rod and screws.. and 26 stitches. living all most 2 hours away can some times be challenging.. with rescheduling and well life in general.. but we do what we can.. im thankful for the Help of my baby Sister and Her Husband, who live in Bflo,Ny.
so i thought id share, with you what i saw from the 17th floor of Buffalo General Hospital, and what i did for 2 days.
