Well its that time of year again, festivals every week end, sometimes over lapping, so one needs to pay attention, as to which one to go to… im not a fan of crowds at all, so where ever i go..i go early and leave in the middle.this last weekend, the fest.was in my little town,on the Erie Canal.
i had to park a good mile or more away, because im to cheap to pay ..upwards of 10 dollars. if i had a car full of people that would have been a different story, but i was alone…so here we go
and if you notice that snowy stuff..its dogwood..it makes a mess, its everywhere, for a few weeks.
well for what ever reason im having a terrible time on wordpress today… so..im going to leave now, and return in a few days with more?:) anyone else out there having problems? anyway, if you stopped by, thank you!! and have an awesome day… and a better week end:)!!
So the men went off camping in the 1000 islands. i had the week end to myself. i took myself to dinner and stayed out to catch a sunset right here in the village,on the Erie Canal. And then this morning i got up at 5am and went Downtown to the big farmers market, which we call the Public Market. Talked to a very interesting woman. Since we have been trying to eat according to the Paleo way of eating. I ‘v been making alot of our own food. I can ..I’m home. and i like to cook..so its a win win.
thanks for stopping by. have an awesome rest of the week end..or week:)!
sitting on the dock of the canal, just watching the world go by, a perfect summers day, me with my cuppa, and My Hubby with His Ice Cream. Boaters love to talk about their Journey and their vessel. We also have a few boats for sight-seeing. and that will be on another day. for now just more waking around and sitting my the 2 villages near me.
just a little History, before I begin my photo journey . although I am use to living just steps away from a great lake, I cant complain at all , having the canal so close, its wonderful, we meet so many people in the summer months, who love to talk about their travels along the canal, where they been with the with the boats (of all sizes). We live just minuets from 2 towns on the Canal, we spend a great deal of time between the 2.
